What kind of service does EZ Boxes provide?

Can't I just get free cardboard boxes?

Sure you can, you just have to decide if it’s worth the hassle. Collecting cardboard boxes from grocery stores or strangers isn’t always as easy as it sounds. Then there’s the fact that used cardboard is highly susceptible to bacteria, bed bugs, etc. And if you still decide to use cardboard boxes, you’ll have to tape them up and hope they hold your stuff. Did we mention they don’t have handles? We could go on, but you get our point!

Will I save money using EZboxes plastic moving boxes?

Yes, absolutely! Here are a few of the ways you’ll save some:

  1. EZBoxes are much stronger than cardboard so you’ll be able to pack more in our boxes without worrying about the bottom falling out. This means you’ll need fewer boxes.
  2. If you’re like us and you value your time and would rather NOT spend hours gathering and building cardboard boxes. EZBoxes are delivered to you ready to be packed, saving you hours of valuable time.
  3. EZBoxes have attached lids which means you won’t need to spend extra money on rolls of packing tape. Our boxes never need tape. Just close the interlocking lids and you’re done. We provide complimentary zip ties which lock the box once you’ve finished packing.
  4. EZBoxes neatly stack on top of one another making it super easy for movers to wheel them in and out of your home/office and into a moving truck. With movers charging an average of $170/hr in Toronto, even shaving just 1 hour off the total move time will save you a significant amount of money.
Do I need to be home for the delivery and pick up?

Someone over the age of 18 should be at the address at the date of Delivery and Pick Up between 7:00AM and 1:30PM. Failure to comply with that may result in additional charges and the cancellation of your order. EZ Boxes team can’t provide more than one attempt for both Delivery and Pick Up. What if I need more EZBoxes boxes after my delivery?

You can always place a new order online and we’ll be happy to deliver more of our plastic green boxes.

Are EZBoxes boxes cleaned between uses?

Yes! we thoroughly washes each box by hand after each use, using eco-friendly cleaning products.

How quickly can I get EZBoxes delivered?

We recommend placing your order 1 to 2 weeks before you need to start packing. However, depending on availability we can also accommodate orders within 3 days of making the order online.

What payment methods do you accept?

We can take Visa and Mastercard. We do not accept checks.

What if I end up needing more time with my EZBoxes?

We understand that there can be delays in moving or unpacking. You can extend your rental period for an additional week at a rate of $1 per box ordered. To do that online, simply visit the Customer Service page and follow the steps.

How long do I get to keep the boxes?

From our experience, a 2 week rental is perfect for most residential customers to get their stuff packed, moved, and then unpacked. However, we understand that smaller moves can sometimes be done faster and larger moves may need more than 2 weeks. When you place your order, you can select a rental period anywhere from 1 week to 6 weeks. You can also extend your rental period for an additional week at a rate of $1 per box ordered. Is there a delivery fee?

No! We offer free delivery and pickup service within the Greater Toronto Area when you order one of our packages. However, EZ Boxes team can’t provide more than one attempt for both Delivery and Pick Up. If you wish to change the Delivery or Pick Up date please visit our Customer Service Page.

What days and hours do you deliver and pickup?

EZBoxes are delivered and picked up Thursday through Monday between the hours of 7:00am and 1:30pm. Depending on how our routes are shaping up, we may be able to arrive before 7:00am. You’ll receive a text message by 6:00pm the day before your delivery and pickup dates confirming our arrival for the next day.

Will EZboxes also pack and move my boxes?

No, EZboxes only rents the boxes to you. You will need to hire a moving company or move the boxes on your own.

How big are the EZBoxes in dimensions?
Our boxes are 27 inches long by 17 inches wide by 12 inches high and has approximately 3.2 cubic feet of storage.
How do I pay?

When booking your order online, you’ll enter your credit or debit card details on our secure checkout. 

What is your cancellation policy?
We understand moving plans can change for any number of reasons. If you would like to cancel an order, it must be done by noon the day before your scheduled delivery date to receive a full refund. To do that simply visit the Customer Service page and follow the instructions. If an order cancellation is made after this time but before 4am at the delivery day, there is a 40% restocking fee.
